Friday, 1 May 2020 Updates on COVID-19  Several actions have been taken by Government of India along with the States/UTs for prevention, containment and management of COVID-19, through a graded, pre-emptive and pro-active approach. These are regularly being reviewed and monitored at the highest level. Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare held a meeting today with Sh. Mangal Pandey, Health Minister of Bihar in presence of Sh. Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State of Health and Family Welfare along with the senior officials from both centre and State for the management on Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) and to take stock and review the situation in the State for COVID-19. All the districts of the country have been divided into green, orange and red zone. ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର : କରୋନା ସଂକ୍ରମଣ ରୋକିବାକୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ସରକାର ଏକ ବଡ଼ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଆଜି ରାତି ୮ଟା ଠାରୁ ରବିବାର ରାତି ୮ଟା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ଓ ଭଦ୍ରକ ସହରରେ ୪୮ ଘଣ୍ଟିଆ ସଂପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ‘ସଟଡାଉନ୍’ ଜାରି କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ଘୋଷଣା କରାଯାଇଛି। ରାଜ୍ୟର ମୁଖ୍ୟସଚିବ ଅସିତ ତ୍ରିପାଠୀ ଏକ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ ସମ୍ମିଳନୀ କରି ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଏହି ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ସଂପର୍କରେ ସୂଚନା ଦେଇଛନ୍ତି।  ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଶାସନ ସଚିବ ଅସିତ ତ୍ରିପାଠୀ କହିଛନ୍ତି, ଏଇ ୨ଟି ସହରରେ ଆଜି ରାତି ୮ରୁ ରବିବାର ରାତି ୮ଟା ଯାଏ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ସଟ୍‌ଡାଉନ ହେବ। ଏହି ୪୮ ଘଣ୍ଟା ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ଦୋକାନ ବି ବନ୍ଦ ରହିବ। ତେବେ ମାଲ୍‌ ପରିବହନ ନେଇ କୌଣସି କଟକଣା ରହିବ ନାହିଁ। ସଟ୍‌ଡାଉନ ବେଳେ  ଲକ୍‌ଡାଉନ ଲାଗି ଜାରି ହୋଇଥିବା ସମସ୍ତ ପାସ୍ ବାତିଲ୍ କରାଯିବ। ଅତ୍ୟାବଶ୍ୟକୀୟ ସେବାରେ ଥିବା ବ୍ୟକ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ସ୍ବତନ୍ତ୍ର ସଟଡାଉନ୍ ପାସ ଜାରି କରାଯିବ ବୋଲି ମୁଖ୍ୟସଚିବ ଅସିତ ତ୍ରିପାଠୀ ସ୍ପଷ୍ଟ କରିଛନ୍ତି। ଏହି ସାମ୍ବାଦିକ ସମ୍ମିଳନୀରେ ଯୋଗ ଦେଇ ପୁଲିସ ଡିଜିପି ଅଭୟ କହିଛନ୍ତି ଏହି ସଟଡାଉନ୍ ଏକ ପ୍ରକାର କର୍ଫ୍ୟୁ। ଏହି ୪୮ ଘଣ୍ଟା ଭିତରେ ଗ୍ରୋସରି, ପରିବା, ମାଛ ଓ ମାଂସ ଦୋକାନ ବନ୍ଦ ରହିବ। କେବଳ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ ସଂଖ୍ୟକ ମେଡିସିନ ଷ୍ଟୋର ଖୋଲିବ। ଏହି ନିଷ୍ପତ୍ତି ନେବେ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଜିଲ୍ଲାପାଳ। ସେହିପରି ସ୍ବାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ...

Odisha Announces 48-Hours Complete Shutdown In Bhubaneswar, Bhadrak

Bhubaneswar : Taking strict measure to contain further spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) following fifth positive case was reported in Odisha, the state government announced complete shutdown in Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak from tonight. The complete shutdown will be in force from 8.00 pm on April 3 till next 48 hours in Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak town, announced Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy in an emergency press briefing today. “Since we reported 4 cases (80%) from Bhubaneswar and only 1 (20%) from Bhadrak, we decided to shutdown these two places to prevent further spread of COVID-19 in the state,” Tripathy said. The government has achieved the target to confine the positive cases at single digit as on March 31. With the move, the state capital Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak town will remain shut from 8.00 pm on April 3 to 8.00 pm of April 5.
