UPSC Civil Services Examination 2019 Results Announced, 2 Odias In Top 10

Bhubaneswar: The results of the Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination 2019 have been announced. A total of 829 candidates have qualified with two Odia in top 10.

The category-wise break-up of the 829 candidates is: General-304, OBC-251, SC-129, EWS- 78, ST- 67. In order of merit, of candidates who have been recommended for appointment to:

(i) Indian Administrative Service;

(ii) Indian Foreign Service;

(iii) Indian Police Service; and

(iv) Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’

Pradeep Singh has bagged the first rank followed by Jatin Kishore and Pratibha Verma. Odisha’s Abhishek Saraf secures All India Rank 8 while Sanjita Mohapatra secured the 10th position. Here is the list of other people from Odisha who managed to feature in top 1000.
